Chelsi plants her roots in Central Louisiana. She is a proud citizen of Jena, where she is an active member of Searcy Baptist Church and loves to participate in community wide events. She is an alum of both Winnfield Senior High School and Louisiana State University at Alexandria. She earned a Bachelor’s of English with a Minor in Secondary Education in 2016 and pursued a teaching career, but after five years, quickly realized that while she loved her job and students,she wanted more time with her family. Earlier this year, she became a licensed loan originator to be able to continue helping people succeed in their goals, as she did in teaching, and be the wife and mother her family deserved. She and her husband of 13 years, Grant, have three boys: Tucker, 10, Turner, 6, and Trace, 4. In her spare time she operates a home baking business, Chelsi’s Southern Sweets, as well as chauffeurs her kids to their many extracurriculars. Her priority in mortgage lending is to help families, just like hers, and individuals achieve the dream of homeownership so they can live what they feel is their best life.
