Garett is a lifelong resident of South Louisiana. He graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School in '10 and then pursued his A.S. in General Studies at Nicholls State University in '12. After working for Farm Bureau Insurance he later returned to get his B.S. in Accounting at Nicholls in '18 while he worked as a finance officer for Nicholls Athletics. In 2018, Garett joined American South Mortgage as a Mortgage Loan Officer. In his spare time, Garett and his family love hunting, raising cattle, and all things exercise. He is also involved in many outside organizations such as the Nicholls Alumni Federation Board, Colonel Athletic Association, Louisiana Running Project, and the Louisiana Cattleman's Association.
